Project Manager - Mixed Commercial Construction
Our client is a well-established Texas-based commercial construction management firm with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across office, retail, industrial, education, municipal, faith-based, and specialty commercial markets. Job Description
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting requirements
- Lead communication with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, and project scopes
- Coordinate procurement activities and monitor material delivery schedules
- Evaluate project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications
- Identify and resolve project challenges while minimizing risk and maintaining project momentum
- Partner with Superintendents to ensure field operations align with project objectives
- Monitor project financial performance and forecast project outcomes
- Promote jobsite safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
- Experience managing a variety of commercial projects, including ground-up and renovation work
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of Texas commercial construction practices is preferred
