Project Manager – Multi-family Construction

A respected regional general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects throughout Skagit, Whatcom, and Snohomish counties. You will lead multi-family projects that make a lasting impact across some of the Pacific Northwest’s fastest-growing communities.
The ideal candidate has ground-up multifamily construction experience and can confidently manage schedules, budgets, project teams, and trade partners from preconstruction through completion.

Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-family construction projects from preconstruction through completion and turnover.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout all phases of construction.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating trade sequencing, procurement, and key milestones.
- Partner with superintendents to address field challenges and keep construction moving efficiently.
- Coordinate communication among owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project requirements.
- Develop budgets, forecast costs, and monitor project financial performance and profitability.
- Support estimating, constructability reviews, and construction planning.
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage change orders, subcontract agreements, and project documentation.
- Lead cohesive project teams and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, and final project turnover.
Project Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience, 2+ years focused on multi-family.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Understanding of building construction, trade coordination, and construction sequencing.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost forecasting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Working knowledge of construction measurements and quantity calculations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 + bonus
