Project Manager - Multifamily - Chicago Suburbs

The company is seeking a Project Manager to lead large-scale multifamily construction projects from groundbreaking through turnover. Projects range from $20M-$100M in value and include market-rate, luxury, and mixed-use developments.

A leading Chicagoland multifamily builder with a strong portfolio of podium, wrap-style, mixed-use, luxury apartment, and senior living communities throughout the Midwest.

Description

• Manage project budgets, schedules, and contracts.
• Lead project teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Coordinate entitlement, permitting, and municipal approvals.
• Oversee procurement and long-lead material tracking.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Administer change order management.
• Facilitate owner and stakeholder meetings.
• Track project costs and forecast financial outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Manage closeout and warranty processes.

Profile

• 7+ years of construction management experience.
• Proven experience managing multifamily projects.
• Strong leadership and financial management skills.
• Knowledge of wood-frame, podium, and mixed-use construction.
• Experience using Procore and project scheduling software.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
