Project Manager - Multifamily Construction - Ground Up

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale ground-up multifamily construction projects in South Florida. This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background managing cast-in-place concrete multifamily developments from preconstruction through closeout.

Our client is a General Contractor with a strong track record throughout Florida building a variety of Commercial and Multifamily Projects.

Description

• Manage ground-up multifamily projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Lead project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement activities.
• Monitor project costs and ensure profitability goals are achieved.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and municipal agencies.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, schedule impacts, and cost overruns.
• Ensure projects are executed safely while meeting quality and schedule expectations.
• Support preconstruction efforts including budgeting, value engineering, and constructability reviews.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects.
• Strong experience with cast-in-place concrete structures.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $20M to $100M+.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
• Ability to lead multiple stakeholders and drive project performance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
