As Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of ground-up multifamily construction projects throughout the Greater Boston area. Working closely with the Lead Superintendent and project team, you will oversee project execution from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle from planning and procurement through project completion
Partner closely with the Lead Superintendent to oversee daily project execution and proactive planning
Lead subcontractor buyout, scope development, contract negotiations, and procurement activities
Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability tracking
Oversee document control, submittals, RFIs, and overall project administration
Drive stakeholder communication with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
Lead change order management from pricing and approval through implementation
Mentor and oversee Assistant Project Managers while supporting scheduling, risk management, and issue resolution
The Successful Project Manager - Multifamily should have:
5+ years of Construction Project Management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
Strong understanding of project financial management, forecasting, and cost control
Experience leading subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract negotiations
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
