Position Overview

EA Engineering, Science and Technology Inc., PBC (EA) has been providing munitions response services to a variety of Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial clients since 2007. We currently have opportunities available for Munitions Response (MR) professionals (Geologists/Scientists/Engineers and Project Managers) to support existing programs/projects and new business initiatives within our growing MR practice line.

Responsibilities

As a MR professional, depending on your experience, position and grade level you will have various involvement and responsibility for the planning, design, execution and management of Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) and Sustainable Range Program related proposals and projects. Depending on position/title, responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting and/or managing MR project activities to ensure that project scope and objectives are accomplished within the proposed schedule and budget while meeting all applicable quality and safety standards.
  • Supporting and/or leading nationwide proposal efforts.
  • Working with a multi-disciplinary team of geologists, engineers, chemists, geophysicists, project and program manager, and risk assessors.
  • Supporting and managing the preparation of a variety of MR documents (UFP-QAPPs, ESS/ESP/CSS, RI/FS/PP/DD, RACR, etc.).
  • Conducting and/or overseeing field work, to include conduct and daily reporting of field operations; staffing, oversight, and tracking project costs/schedule; and communication with EA management and clients.
  • Coordinating project activities with government, regulatory, and other agencies.
  • Comprehensive tracking of task and project progress, schedule, and cost.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S degree or higher in geology, engineering, environmental sciences, or related discipline.
  • Three (3) or more years of overall MR related experience, and for the full-time PM level at least 5 years recent experience as an MMRP project manager
  • Experience providing cost-effective solutions for MR projects including assessment, investigation, remediation, range sustainment/clearance and/or other MEC related projects
  • Experience preferred conducting and/or managing projects with digital geophysical mapping (DGM) and Advanced Geophysical Classification (AGC)
  • Experience conducting and or managing projects with DoD clients including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Army Environmental Command (AEC), U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and U.S. Air Force
  • High-level of proficiency using all Microsoft applications including Teams.
  • Able to travel, depending on job title, up to 20% of the time for pre-proposal and project related site visits and field work.
  • U.S. Citizen and valid U.S. Driver's License.

Pay Range

$80,000-$150,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
