Our client is a highly respected commercial general contractor with more than 60 years of success delivering complex construction projects throughout the Washington, DC region. Known for its collaborative culture, employee development programs, and strong industry reputation, the company continues to experience substantial growth across multiple market sectors.
Manage ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Lead project teams and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and financial reporting. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Manage client relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation. Collaborate closely with Superintendents to drive project execution. Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving challenges proactively. Track project profitability and support successful financial outcomes. Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office 365, and scheduling tools to manage project performance.

The successful Project Manager should have: 5-10 years of commercial construction experience. General Contractor experience required. Ground-up construction experience required. Experience managing projects valued at $30M+ required. Experience on commercial, healthcare, education, public works, multifamily, hospitality, office, or similar project types. Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
