Summary
As part of Project Management and Innovation team, the project manager:
· Acts as a central PMO to oversee project roadmaps and enhance the GIT reporting
· Manages a portfolio of IT projects in the Americas
· Supports local business lines and support functions in the Americas in their project implementation
· Ensures proper project governance and adherence to the Global GIT project management methodology
Key Responsibilities
· Project & Program Management
· Serve as central PMO, overseeing execution of annual project roadmaps
· Coordinate all stakeholders and establish comprehensive project governance frameworks
· Manage project resources and create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
· Lead project management initiatives across multiple business lines, including coordination of regulatory assessments & audits
· Strategic Planning & Analysis:
· Support strategic planning exercises involving large-scale operations and workforce planning
· Business Analysis & Implementation
· Prepare Statements of Requirements for technology implementations
· Coordinate IT and business teams through workshops and governance presentations
· Lead the implementation of projects that will be assigned
· Stakeholder management:
· Close coordination with stakeholders and managing the expectations of various business groups and support functions, including Sales and Trading, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, and IT across global locations throughout the project
· Act as a local point of contact for assigned projects for the Head Office teams
· Reporting: Extensive project status reporting via project & steering committees, and progress presentations to senior management globally
· Actively work on continuously improving the environment and bring efficiencies to either improve quality, time to deliver, or reduce cost.
· Ensure adherence to the System Project Life Cycle (SPLC) and Global GIT project management methodology and produce or assist in the production of key deliverables defined by the SPLC.
· Ensure that all system implementations meet US regulatory standards (inclusive of cybersecurity requirements) and are done in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
· Promote Global IT’s values across all functions and geographical locations.
