The Role:
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring successful delivery of projects from award through installation with a focus on exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for executing projects within scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project life cycle.
This role is based on-site in Ogden, UT.
Your Responsibilities:
- Partner with engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements and constraints to complete project plan and conduct internal and external kick-off meetings.
- Responsible for creating and managing project schedule, budget, communication plan, and risk register. Responsible for planning and execution of risk management plans.
- Align project plan with cross-functional groups, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing. Work with cross-functional groups to develop mitigation plans and corrective actions when necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and third-party inspectors.
- Build customer relationships, while balancing business priorities. Resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Prepare internal and external project reports and conduct project status meetings.
- Manage project scope and changes. Prepare, submit, and manage internal and external change orders.
- Conducts lessons learned to develop and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience managing complex development or manufacturing projects.
- Bachelor''s degree from four-year college or university.
- Experience interpreting customer specifications, contract terms, and proposals.
- JDE systems and Microsoft Project experience preferred.
- Ability to travel between La Vergne. TN and Ogden, UT, approximately 20%.
