Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGER ROLE: Highly regarded AISC Certified Steel Fabricator in the area is looking for a Project Manager to oversee projects up to 25K tons. PM will be responsible for expediting projects, managing logistics, coordinating inspections, & overseeing timelines to ensure a scheduled delivery and that top quality standards are met. Must have strong communication skills and be highly focused on teamwork & collaboration.  Will be coordinating and overseeing all the different departments throughout the project life cycle. 

Compensation package is competitive; including bonuses & a 401K program. 

Project Manager Skills and Requirements:

• 4+ years of Project Management experience in Structural Steel
• Ability to accurately interpret sketches & blueprints; including design, construction, architectural & subcontractor drawings
• Ability to perform work accurately, completely, & in a timely manner
• Mastery of AISC codes

Project Management Job Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinate sequencing & any special job issues with General Contractors
• Keep track of all submittals & press for timely return
• Communicate with field superintendents to confirm delivery schedules
• Communicate with detailers for release of jobs for fabrication
• Update Job Schedule as needed
• Address and service any field problems immediately
