Lead projects through initiation, planning, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and transition to support.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of business analysts, architects, developers, quality assurance professionals, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Facilitate project meetings, executive status reviews, planning sessions, risk discussions, and stakeholder communications.
Monitor project performance and provide accurate, timely status reports to leadership and client stakeholders.
Ensure project deliverables meet approved business requirements, technical standards, contractual obligations, and quality expectations.
Support testing, implementation readiness, training coordination, deployment planning, and post-production stabilization.
Establish strong working relationships with business, technical, executive, and government stakeholders.
Promote accountability, effective communication, and timely resolution of project issues and dependencies.
Job Responsibilities
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Five or more years of experience managing complex software development, enterprise application, or system modernization projects.
Demonstrated experience managing projects involving custom application development, system integrations, data conversion or migration, testing, and production deployment.
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and multiple concurrent workstreams.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, negotiation, risk-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
Proficiency with project planning, collaboration, reporting, and issue-tracking tools.
Active PMP, PRINCE2, or another recognized equivalent project management certification.
