PROJECT MANAGER or ENGINEER – CONSTRUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a Construction Project Manager or Project Engineer with experience in industrial or multi-level commercial construction. Ideal candidate(s) will have a good understanding of building practices and facility infrastructure, including MEP systems, HVAC, structural components, concrete, and roofing. This is a long-term assignment, 24 months. RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Senior Construction Project Manager, field team, and site suppliers.
Oversee selected aspects of large-scale construction projects to ensure alignment with design requirements, budget constraints, and schedule milestones.
Provide a wide range of field engineering support, including participating in MEP design reviews (HVAC, power distribution, lighting, water supply, sanitation, etc.) and coordinating complex system installations with a focus on efficiency and safety.
Manage project activities, timelines, and schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Provide technical feedback on project progress, work quality, drawings, and documentation.
Build and maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and other key partners to support ongoing and future construction activities.
Monitor and control on-site construction operations to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent technical experience.
Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in Large Industrial or Commercial construction projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel within Michigan.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with MS Project is a strong plus
