Description
- Manage data center construction projects from planning through completion on behalf of ownership teams.
- Coordinate project stakeholders, including owners, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and overall performance to ensure successful delivery.
- Support project planning, reporting, procurement, and construction administration activities.
- Lead meetings, document project progress, and communicate critical updates to leadership and clients.
- Conduct site visits to active data center construction projects in the Northern Virginia market.
- Partner closely with internal leadership to support the continued growth of the firm's data center practice.
- Ensure project objectives, quality standards, and client expectations are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.
- For APM-level candidates, provide project support under the guidance of experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
- For PM and Sr. PM candidates, take ownership of project execution and client relationships while driving successful outcomes.
Profile
- Experience managing or supporting data center construction projects.
- Background working for a General Contractor or Owner Rep.
- Owner's representative experience is highly preferred for PM and Sr. PM candidates.
- Strong understanding of construction project management processes, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to work both onsite in the Manassas area and from the Tysons office as needed.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Desire to contribute to a growing practice within a dynamic and entrepreneurial organization.
