Go West Development is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager with strong commercial construction experience to support an upcoming project in PARK CITY, UT.


Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for keeping the project organized, documented, and moving forward. This person will serve as a key point of communication between the field crew and the project architect, ensuring that information is accurate, timely, and clearly communicated to the appropriate parties.


The successful candidate must be comfortable working with a very detail-oriented commercial architect and confident managing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, project changes, and project documentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily communication between the field crew, architect, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point between the office and field teams.
  • Create, submit, track, and monitor RFIs to ensure FIELD CREW AND OFFICE questions are documented and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Manage SUBMITTALS, including tracking, follow-up, distribution, revisions, and approvals.
  • Coordinate and review SHOP DRAWINGS, ensuring they are properly tracked and communicated to the correct parties.
  • Track and manage PROJECT CHANGES, including documentation, communication, approvals, and follow-up.
  • Work closely with a highly detail-oriented commercial architect and INTERIOR DESIGNER to ensure project requirements, drawings, and updates are clearly understood and implemented.
  • Maintain organized project logs, records, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Ensure the field team has current and accurate information needed to execute the work properly.
  • Proactively follow up on open items, outstanding approvals, changes, and project documentation.
  • Support overall project coordination, communication, scheduling awareness, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Help identify potential issues early and communicate them clearly to the appropriate team members.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction project management and understands the importance of clear communication, accurate documentation, and timely follow-up. This person should be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced construction environment.


This role is best suited for someone who has worked on commercial building projects or projects with a high level of architectural detail, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.


Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, commercial building, general contracting, or a similar environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience creating, tracking, and monitoring RFIs.
  • Experience managing submittals, shop drawings, revisions, and approval workflows.
  • Experience tracking and managing project changes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field teams, architects, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with a highly detail-oriented commercial architect.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, documentation, and project coordination processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, open items, follow-ups, and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, project tracking tools, Microsoft Office, and/or related systems is an asset.
  • Must be able to work full-time in office in Kamas, UT.

Compensation

  • Annual Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 based on experience
  • Full insurance
  • Bonus potential of up to 15%

Work Environment

This is a strictly in-office role based in Kamas, UT. The Project Manager will work closely with the office team while maintaining frequent daily communication with the field crew, architect, and project stakeholders.
