Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support commercial launch planning, launch readiness, and cross-functional mobilization activities for an upcoming pharmaceutical product launch within a global life sciences organization. This individual will play a key role in coordinating launch planning efforts across commercial, marketing, medical, operations, regulatory, and regional stakeholder groups to help ensure organizational readiness ahead of a targeted launch timeframe.
This role requires strong program coordination, stakeholder management, and execution support capabilities within a fast-paced, highly matrixed pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously, driving follow-through across teams, and maintaining momentum across complex launch workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Support launch planning and launch readiness activities across global and local market teams
Coordinate cross-functional launch workstreams, timelines, dependencies, and key milestones
Assist launch leadership in translating strategic launch objectives into actionable execution plans
Prepare launch readiness materials, leadership review content, meeting agendas, status updates, and follow-up actions
Track launch deliverables, asset development progress, submission timelines, approvals, and related dependencies
Maintain visibility into critical path activities and escalate risks, delays, or gaps as needed
Coordinate collaboration across internal stakeholders, external partners, agencies, and alliance teams
Support meeting facilitation, decision tracking, action item management, and ongoing communication across workstreams
Help ensure continuity of execution during periods of shifting stakeholder availability and competing priorities
Assist with launch-related budgeting coordination, documentation tracking, and budget follow-up activities
Support regional and local market readiness planning efforts, including alignment on timing, materials, and operational needs
Maintain launch planning tools, trackers, dashboards, and project documentation to support ongoing governance and reporting
Required Experience
Experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotech commercial launch initiatives
Strong project management and cross-functional coordination experience within a matrixed environment
Experience working with commercial, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, or market access teams
Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines with strong attention to detail
Experience preparing executive-level presentations, status reports, and readiness materials
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to drive follow-through and maintain momentum across complex initiatives
Experience working within highly regulated healthcare or life sciences environments
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting global product launches or launch readiness programs
Familiarity with launch governance, commercialization processes, and approval workflows
Experience coordinating agency partners, vendors, or alliance stakeholders
Pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry background strongly preferred
PMP or related project management certification is a plus
