    A well-established civil engineering consulting firm in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Project Manager with extensive experience in Water Resources. This role involves leading technical teams and managing complex surface water projects across Arizona, including stormwater modeling, FEMA Risk MAP studies, and stream restoration. The ideal candidate will have strong client-facing skills, proven project leadership, and hands-on technical expertise.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage planning, analysis, and design of surface water projects, including drainage master plans, floodplain mapping, and stream stabilization.

    • Lead projects from concept through completion, including client communication, scope and fee development, contract negotiations, budgeting, and schedule management.

    • Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

    • Utilize advanced hydrologic and hydraulic tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, FLO-2D).

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.

    • Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license.

    • Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or ability to obtain within 6 months.

    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in water resources engineering.

    • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

    • Familiarity with Arizonas terrain and drainage regulations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • EIT candidates considered for department needs.

    • Local Arizona experience highly valued.
