Project Manager – PLM Production Support & Enhancements

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead production support, release governance, and enhancement delivery for a large-scale Teamcenter PLM platform supporting global engineering and business operations.

The role involves coordinating cross-functional POD teams across Business, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams to ensure production stability, controlled deployments, incident resolution, and successful delivery of ongoing enhancements.

The candidate will drive execution governance, release management, operational reporting, and stakeholder coordination in a highly customized Teamcenter ecosystem with multiple enterprise integrations.


Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Operations

  • Manage day-to-day production support activities for Teamcenter PLM applications and integrations.
  • Coordinate incident triage, issue resolution, escalation management, and support tracking across POD teams.
  • Drive hypercare and steady-state support governance for global business users.
  • Monitor operational KPIs including incident aging, SLA adherence, deployment success, and production stability.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate activities across Development, QA, Business, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams.
  • Manage cross-POD dependencies, action tracking, and issue escalations.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities and technical execution timelines.
  • Support global delivery coordination across offshore/onshore teams.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Drive governance meetings, operational reviews, deployment reviews, and escalation calls.
  • Maintain project dashboards, risk registers, release trackers, and support metrics.
  • Enable GenAI-based reporting and operational dashboard automation where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

  • 10+ years of IT project management experience.
  • Experience managing PLM implementation, support, or enhancement projects.
  • Strong experience coordinating global cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing production support, release management, and deployment governance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or Hybrid delivery models.

Preferred

  • Exposure to Teamcenter modules including Item, BOM, Change Management, CAD/xCAD, Reports, and Integrations.
  • Experience supporting highly customized enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with SAP integrations, DevOps processes, and enterprise deployment models.
  • Exposure to GenAI-enabled reporting or PMO automation initiatives.
