Duration: 6+ month contract
Project Management Fundamentals- Develop project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using our PMO tools and templates as appropriate; Define resource requirements and negotiate availability with resource managers; Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent campaigns
- Develops, matures, and ensures adherence to the PM methodology tailored to our operating environment.
- Establish, maintain, and update project risk log. Resolve project issues and escalate as appropriate; spotting bottlenecks before they impact a deadline
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and guiding projects with a clear understanding of the underlying business challenges, constraints, and trade-offs
- Able to translate business requirements into actionable, achievable project objectives, and help sharpen stated goals
- Able to develop a roadmap understanding the key dependencies to be successful
- Strong negotiation and prioritization skills to navigate cross functional teams.
- Monitors and reports on project performance and quality across the portfolio; provides input into delivery metrics and project health indicators.
- Supports portfolio-wide quality audits and process adherence reviews.
- Drives continuous improvement efforts to increase consistency and effectiveness of project delivery, including risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and outcome realization.
- Demonstrates appropriate leadership, collaboration, and decision-making behaviors; maintains technical knowledge and professional growth.
- Conduct analyses to estimate and track project costs and budgets
- Manage project change control and follow existing policies
- Ensure project-related documentation is accurate and complete
- Marketing-Specific Knowledge
- Understanding of the full campaign lifecycle (brief → creative → production → launch → measurement)
- Familiarity with development and management of cross-channel direct marketing campaigns including targeting, business rules, and test and learn iterations.
- Familiarity with channels they'll be coordinating (digital, social, email, events, PR) — doesn't need to be an expert executor, but needs to speak the language
Qualifications and Skills:- Demonstrated success applying project management concepts and techniques across multiple, simultaneous projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including problem solving and critical thinking, with attention to detail
- Ability to facilitate meetings and manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to gain and maintain credibility at all levels of the organization
- Understanding of business process improvement and change management desired
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology or related field preferred
- PMI or equivalent certification preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience
