    Our Transmission & Distribution Global Practice is looking for a Project Manager to support our North Texas Region, primarily in our Fort Worth, Texas office. The Project Manager is responsible for leading a diverse team of stakeholders from multiple entities in the successful delivery of complex projects, from inception through final close-out, including the development and implementation of processes, procedures, strategy, execution plans, resource planning, risk management, and reporting tools. The Project Manager will lead the team in a dynamic and profitable manner based on Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service.

    • Lead the development and execution of overall strategic business initiatives to achieve goals and objectives provided by the client or Burns & McDonnell.

    • Provide leadership to the Project team; direct and coordinate the work of a multi-disciplined team, and ensure the efficient and cost-effective utilization of staff.

    • Responsible for management of Project budget and expenditure of funds.

    • Achieve stated targets and standards for the Project financial performance.

    • Present monthly financial information to leadership including project revenue forecasts.

    • Support strategies for cross-selling engineering services across the organization.

    • Attend bi-weekly team coordination and monthly stakeholder meetings.

    • Support monthly reporting requirements by assessing project risk, program status, and coordination with controls team for schedule and financial updates.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management or related degree from an accredited program and 7 years related experience in the electric utility or construction industry.

    • Experience leading a multi-discipline project team.

    • Strong experience in client and business development.

    • Expert experience in managing projects, which includes proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, project controls, system integration, owners engineering, real estate acquisition, permitting, environmental compliance, construction management, design team coordination & communication, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination.

    • Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem solving skills.

    • Demonstrated success as to budget, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects.

    • Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage.

    • Excellent planning and analytical skills.

    • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.

    • Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including the use of Microsoft Project or equivalent.

    • Travel to the project location may be required depending on client and responsibilities. Travel is expected to be about 50% of the PMs overall time.

    This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
