Superintendent - Commercial Construction | Westchester, NY
Our client is a well-established general contractor with a strong reputation across the Tri-State area, delivering commercial ground-up and interior renovation projects. Their portfolio includes corporate offices, healthcare facilities, educational buildings, retail spaces, and institutional projects, with a consistent pipeline of work throughout Westchester and the Lower Hudson Valley.
As a Superintendent - Commercial Construction | Westchester, NY, you will:
- Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project management teams.
- Develop and maintain short-term schedules to ensure milestones are achieved.
- Conduct daily site walks and enforce safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Review drawings and specifications and proactively resolve field issues.
- Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain project documentation and daily reports.
- Coordinate inspections, punch list activities, and turnover procedures.

A successful Superintendent - Commercial Construction | Westchester, NY should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
- Experience managing projects valued between $5M-$50M+ preferred.
- Background in corporate interiors, healthcare, education, retail, or ground-up commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, construction sequencing, and site logistics.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling software is a plus.
