Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Management & Operations Consultant to support a portfolio of strategic initiatives within Medical Affairs. This individual will be responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining operational excellence, facilitating stakeholder communication, and ensuring timely execution of key deliverables across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Primary Responsibilities
• Support planning, execution, and tracking of multiple projects and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain project plans, trackers, action logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and track follow-up actions.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Facilitate communication among internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage project documentation and ensure information is organized and accessible.
• Track budgets and assist with operational and financial reconciliation activities.
• Support operational processes, business governance activities, and routine project administration.
• Contribute to communications, updates, newsletters, presentations, and stakeholder reporting.
• Monitor progress against milestones and help ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Assist with vendor coordination and accountability for agreed-upon deliverables.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline workflows and enhance team effectiveness.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project coordination, project management, operations, consulting, or business support experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical affairs, learning, or commercial organizations.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and operational excellence practices.
• Experience working with external vendors and managing multiple stakeholders.
