A rapidly growing civil construction company is seeking a high-performing Project Manager to lead impactful projects across Northern Nevada.
This is not a passive project management role. This is an opportunity to take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout while driving schedules, budgets, field coordination, client relationships, and overall project success.

Key Responsibilities
Full Project Ownership
- Lead projects from handoff through final closeout
- Drive project execution, scheduling, budgeting, and operational alignment
- Maintain control of project scope, sequencing, and deliverables
- Make critical decisions to keep projects progressing efficiently
Financial Management & Cost Control
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, production tracking, and margin performance
- Monitor job costs and proactively identify financial risks
- Oversee change orders, billing, and cost recovery
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting
Planning & Operational Coordination
- Develop and maintain project schedules alongside field leadership
- Lead short-term and long-term planning meetings with superintendents
- Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Remove operational constraints that impact schedule or production
Client & Team Leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Build strong relationships through communication, accountability, and follow-through
- Lead project meetings and maintain alignment across all parties
- Partner closely with field teams to ensure successful project execution
Field Collaboration
- Remain actively engaged in field operations and project execution
- Support superintendents and crews with logistics, coordination, and problem-solving
- Ensure field teams have the resources needed to perform effectively
Risk Management
- Identify and address project risks related to cost, schedule, safety, and quality
- Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, and scope changes
- Protect project performance through proactive planning and communication
Project Closeout
- Oversee final billing, financial reconciliation, punch lists, and turnover documentation
- Ensure projects are closed out cleanly and professionally
- Deliver strong client satisfaction from start to finish

Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within:
- Civil construction
- Site development
- Earthwork
- Concrete construction
- Strong understanding of:
- Job costing
- Budget management
- Financial forecasting
- Schedule management
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
- Experience with:
- HCSS
- Procore
- Sage or similar construction/accounting software
Preferred
- Experience with large-scale site development or heavy civil projects
- Strong background working directly with field operations and crews
- Experience managing subcontractors and procurement
- Proven track record of delivering profitable projects
