Project Manager – Construction (Residential)

 

A growing renovations construction company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys managing people, schedules, budgets, and delivering successful projects.

This organization is known for its strong team culture, quality-driven work, and commitment to client relationships. They are seeking someone who takes ownership, communicates effectively, and can successfully drive projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, and overall job progress
  • Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, architects, and engineers
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project scopes
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Lead job site and project meetings
  • Maintain strong communication across all stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues
  • Support safety, quality control, and job site organization

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience
  • Experience in residential construction
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with construction/project management software preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Ground-up and renovation project experience
  • Residential construction background
  • Strong subcontractor coordination and client-facing experience
  • Familiarity with job cost tracking and project financials
