Spang Builders has an exciting opportunity available for a Project Manager to join our well established, high-end residential construction company based in Kennebunkport, Maine.
The Project Manager will have extensive residential construction knowledge and willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment managing one of a kind, highly custom projects

- Salary $100k- $130k commensurate with experience
Requirement of the Project Manager:
- Extensive knowledge of high-end residential custom home building / renovations
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff, subcontractors and vendors
- Strong time and task management skills
- Computer / technology proficiency (BuilderTrend or similar estimating software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to work as a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple task
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Manage project schedules, plan and schedule subcontractors
- Manage crew(s) to ensure proper safety protocols, craftsmanship and project progression
- Effectively communicate with multiple levels including customers, subcontractors, vendors, technicians and internal teams
- Daily communication with other project managers, subcontractors and vendors
- Collaboration with owner, co-workers, customers and various subcontractors/vendors to ensure project financial budgets are followed
- Track and understand project limitations
- Identify and create change orders in a timely manner
- Management and oversight of multiple properties and projects
- Manage crew to ensure property safety protocols and craftsmanship
- Proactively identify potential issues and provide solutions
- Collaborate with various municipalities and understanding of permitting processes
