Join the Modern Remodeling Team as a Project Manager - Residential Construction!
Modern Remodeling, founded in 1990, is a recognized leader in the Insurance Restoration and Remodeling industry. We’re looking for a driven, organized, and customer-focused Project Manager to manage residential projects from estimate through completion.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of your projects while balancing customer satisfaction, quality, schedule, and profitability.
- Manage multiple projects from start to finish
- Review estimates, establish budgets, and develop project schedules
- Coordinate homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, Estimators, and office staff
- Maintain project schedules and hold subcontractors accountable for quality and timelines
- Conduct job-site meetings, inspections, and final walk-throughs
- Communicate with customers and insurance carriers throughout the project
- Identify and resolve issues proactively
- Manage and document change orders
- Monitor project costs and meet company profitability goals
- Ensure work meets contract requirements, building codes, and company standards
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, photos, documentation, and project updates
- Work with the Customer Coordinator and Estimator on deposits, progress payments, and final collections

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, confident, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of projects. You should be able to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, solve problems, and hold subcontractors accountable.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of construction experience
- Project Management experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- General residential construction knowledge
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- CRM experience
- Ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred:
- Insurance restoration experience
- Residential remodeling experience
- Construction estimating or management software experience
- IICRC, Lead, or other industry certifications
