Title: Project Manager
Location: Rochester Hills, MI
Hire Type: Contract (6 to 12 months)
Compensation: $50-$60/hr

Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead high-impact engineering and manufacturing projects from kickoff through completion. Responsibilities:
· Lead multiple projects simultaneously from initial planning through final delivery
· Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource plans
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, internal teams, and stakeholders
· Coordinate efforts across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and operations
· Monitor project scope, schedules, risks, and costs to ensure successful execution
· Facilitate project meetings and provide clear status updates to leadership and customers
· Drive problem-solving efforts and remove roadblocks to keep projects on track
· Manage change orders, documentation, and contract requirements
· Ensure customer expectations are exceeded through proactive communication and execution
· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field preferred
· 3+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, automation, engineering, or industrial environments
· Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
· Experience managing customer-facing projects with multiple stakeholders
· Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
· PMP certification is a plus
Preferred Background:
· Custom machinery, automation, tooling, or capital equipment experience
· Experience working with engineering-driven manufacturing environments
· Knowledge of production processes, fabrication, assembly, or installation projects
