Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of access control, CCTV, structured cabling, and IT installation projects from award through closeout. The Project Manager is the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and vendors, and is accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to Shore Systems'' quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, schedule, and manage multiple concurrent low-voltage/security integration projects from kickoff through final closeout and client sign-off.
• Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact; manage expectations, communicate status, and proactively resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, labor plans, and material procurement timelines.
• Coordinate and supervise field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
• Read and interpret project drawings, riser diagrams, specifications, and scopes of work for access control, CCTV, structured cabling, and IT systems.
• Manage permitting, Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) coordination, and inspection scheduling as required.
• Track project costs against budget; identify, price, and manage change orders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, punch lists, as-builts, and closeout packages.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality control.
• Support pre-construction activities including scope review, take-offs, and proposal input as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable codes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of project management experience in low-voltage, security systems integration, structured cabling, or a related construction/technology trade.
• Working knowledge of access control and CCTV systems (e.g., Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Kantech, Avigilon, Milestone, or similar).
• Familiarity with structured cabling standards (BICSI/TIA-568) and IT networking fundamentals.
• Strong organizational, budgeting, and scheduling skills; experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable managing client relationships.
• Ability to read construction drawings, riser diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation for site visits across the service area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• OSHA 10/30 certification.
• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Manufacturer certifications in access control or CCTV platforms.
• Prior experience working with general contractors on commercial or institutional job sites.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to visit active job sites, including construction environments; occasional need to climb ladders, navigate stairs, and access mechanical/electrical rooms.
