The Project Manager is responsible for managing pipeline and facilities projects including planning, design construction and closeout. They manage different teams of professionals in the execution of this work depending on the stage of the projects. Project Managers work closely and interactively with clients including reporting progress and making forecasts for cost and schedule. Project Managers are responsible for project scope, schedule, budget and change orders for assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of medium-scale, medium-complexity strategic business and technology projects.
Effectively collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives and present solutions to business challenges.
Responsible for budget and resource planning. Single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects.
Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements. Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design.
Build business cases and project justifications.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 3–6 years of project management experience, providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, or Civil projects.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in project-related tools, including SAP, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
PMP a plus.
