Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, specifically using Jenkins and Docker. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and deployment pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance of our platforms. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline operations and improve system reliability.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
Automate deployment processes and manage infrastructure as code.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real time.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.
Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization.
Conduct regular system audits and maintain documentation for processes and configurations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our DevOps practices.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in CI/CD processes, specifically with Jenkins.
Proficient in containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Solid understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.
Understanding of microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
Experience with database management and optimization.
Familiarity with networking concepts and security protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
