Description:

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Santa Clara, CA 95050

Duration: Longterm Contract

Top Required Skills (as provided)

  • 50% – Networking knowledge (LAN, WAN, cabling, firewall, TCP/IP routing, etc.)
  • 25% – Server, virtualization, storage, and Windows/Linux operating systems
  • 25% – Security and audit knowledge

 

Experience Required

  • 8+ years of experience

 

Key Responsibilities

On-Site IT Coordination

  • Oversee and coordinate the work of third-party IT support personnel on-site
  • Ensure service quality and compliance with IT policies and factory safety requirements

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary on-site IT contact for factory users and stakeholders
  • Coordinate effectively with remote/global IT teams across domains (network, storage, applications, etc.)

Escalation & Issue Resolution

  • Handle urgent tier-3 escalations with third-party IT
  • Troubleshoot issues related to:
    • Network connectivity
    • Servers
    • Client systems
    • Production tools

System Operations Support

  • Manage day-to-day IT operations including:
    • User provisioning
    • Hardware/software deployment
    • Patch management
    • Incident resolution

Application & System Support

  • Work with global teams to maintain factory systems including:
    • MES systems
    • ERP systems
    • Other critical business applications

Networking

  • Perform basic troubleshooting:
    • TCP/IP
    • DNS
    • DHCP
    • Routing
  • Escalate complex issues to specialized teams

Server & Infrastructure Management

  • Support and maintain:
    • Windows servers
    • Linux/Unix servers
  • Ensure:
    • System stability
    • Performance optimization
    • Security hardening

Routine Maintenance & Monitoring

  • Perform regular tasks such as:
    • OS patching
    • Endpoint protection
    • System monitoring
    • Inventory control

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards
  • Participate in:
    • Vulnerability remediation
    • Endpoint management initiatives

Asset & Audit Management

  • Assist with:
    • IT asset management
    • Documentation
    • Audit readiness for local systems
