Project Manager SAP or Oracle Global GL Implementation

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale Global General Ledger (GL) implementation involving SAP or Oracle. This individual will serve as a key partner helping coordinate the program, manage critical relationships, and ensure internal teams and external vendors remain aligned throughout the implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with the COO to support the planning, coordination, and execution of the Global General Ledger implementation.
Serve as a central point of coordination across internal stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors and implementation partners, ensuring deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and expectations remain aligned.
Coordinate activities across Finance, Operations, Technology, and other business functions.
Maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, action items, and key deliverables.
Track project risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies and ensure appropriate escalation and follow-through.
Prepare project updates, status reports, meeting materials, and executive-level communications.
Facilitate project meetings and ensure decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines are clearly documented.
Support governance activities and provide the COO with visibility into project status, risks, vendor performance, and areas requiring executive attention.
Proactively identify potential roadblocks and work across teams to drive resolution.
Ensure internal stakeholders and external partners remain accountable to agreed-upon timelines and deliverables.
Support implementation readiness, testing, deployment, and other project activities as needed.

Qualifications
Strong Project or Program Management experience supporting complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
Experience supporting ERP, General Ledger, Finance Transformation, or financial systems implementations strongly required.
SAP or Oracle implementation experience required.
Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors, consulting partners, and senior internal stakeholders.
Strong executive presence with the ability to work closely with C-suite and senior leadership.
Experience managing project plans, risks/issues, dependencies, governance, and executive reporting.
Financial services experience required.
Exceptional communication, organization, relationship-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate as a hands-on project partner in a fast-moving, complex global environment.
