Site Lead, Operations and Maintenance

Location: Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial, 540 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Service Contract Act position)
Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, day shift (must be reachable 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM). Plus 24/7 on-call for site emergencies (phone response within 1 hour; on-site within 2 hours when required).
Reports To: Regional Operations Manager
Compensation: $45.00/hour base wage plus $5.09/hour Health & Welfare benefit. Paid vacation and paid federal holidays per the federal wage determination.
Key Personnel Designation: This position is designated Key Personnel under the federal contract. Your resume is subject to government approval.

About the Opportunity
Our client is a federal facilities and services firm operating under a National Park Service (NPS) contract to run day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The Site Lead is the working leader of a small on-site team, the government's single point of contact, the quality-control inspector, and the senior technician who keeps the memorial's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems running.
Position Summary
Hands-on leadership role. Runs the annual preventive maintenance schedule, manages specialty subcontractors, and personally troubleshoots and repairs the memorial's systems. Coordinates directly with the NPS Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Reports to the client's Regional Operations Manager. Position is contingent on government approval of your resume as Key Personnel and successful completion of a federal background investigation.
