    Description

    Job Title: Project Manager - Solar

    Location: San Diego, CA

    Role Overview: The Project Manager - Solar will lead civil engineering design and project delivery for utility-scale solar and energy related projects with a focus on quality, schedule, budget, and client expectations. 

    Core Responsibilities: 

    • Identify design criteria plus plan and execute effective designs.
    • Provide direct client interface and spearhead plan processing at public agencies.
    • Participate in marketing, business development, lead finding, and pursuit of new work. 
    • Completion of administrative and finance responsibilities including invoicing, monitoring, proposals, change orders, timecard approvals, and attending required meetings.

    Essentials:

    • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university and civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
    • At least 3 years of experience serving as the central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for overseeing workflow of projects.
    • Excellent problem solving, decision-making, communication, and team building skills, and abilities to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support).
    • PE certification required

    Compensation:

    The projected annual salary is estimated at $118,000 - $142,000 per year, representing the low and high ends of the range. The actual starting rate of pay may vary based on factors that include, but are not limited to, the position offered, work experience, education, training, and commensurate experience.
