Commercial HVAC Project Manager

Skilled Trades Partners is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established commercial HVAC and mechanical contractor in Connecticut known for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining strong client relationships.
This role is responsible for overseeing large-scale installation, retrofit, and replacement projects from pre-construction through completion. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage budgets, schedules, client relationships, and field operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial HVAC projects from start to finish
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, billing, and overall execution
- Prepare estimates, proposals, contracts, and project documentation
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct jobsite inspections
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support business development and sales efforts when needed
- Track project progress and reporting using CRM and project management software
- Maintain quality control and ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical construction, or project management
- Strong estimating and budgeting experience
- Proven ability to manage commercial construction projects successfully
- Strong organizational, leadership, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/project management systems
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Procore, or similar platforms is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits:
- $89,000–$110,000+ annually depending on experience
