    Job Summary

    The Project Manager, Supply Chain Transformation is the key organizer behind the NAPA network modernization.  The role serves as the primary driver of developing, documenting, and tracking activities to deliver the new NAPA network.  This position will organize discussions, develop executive updates, and plan the associated building transitions.  Reporting to the Senior Director, this role leads cross-functionally to deliver on the Supply Chain strategy.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the project plans and project management for the opening of new NAPA Distribution Centers. Guides the project team though all project phases, from project initiation through building go lives.
    • Drives project success through organization, effective collaboration, and problem solving.
    • Partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including IT, Engineering, Stores, Sales, Category, and Finance to deliver Supply Chain objectives.
    • Manages multiple priorities in a multi-faceted environment with effective communication and thorough follow-through.
    • Facilitate team meetings effectively and deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
    • Communicate project direction, approach, priorities, events and status to all project resources and stakeholders.
    • Ensures project deliverables are on time and on budget while delivering on the required scope.
    • Mitigate project risks and partner across NAPA to solve issues.

    Qualifications

    • Four-year degree or equivalent experience in a related field (examples, Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management, Engineering).
    • 5 years’ project management experience. Preferred experienced in managing large capital projects including the opening of new buildings or the automation of Distribution Centers.
    • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and the ability to influence.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and story-telling skills.
    • Good reasoning, conflict-management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software such as MS project, Smartsheet, etc.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PMP certification preferred.
    • Experience with Lean methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping) and performance improvement initiatives.

    Physical Demands / Working Environment

    • Must be able to work in a corporate office and Distribution Center setting.  
    • Willingness to conduct up to 20% domestic travel as needed.
