Project Manager – TikTok Shop

Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite 6 times per month
Duration: 5 Months

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Project Manager – TikTok Shop to support the planning, coordination, and execution of social commerce initiatives.

The Project Manager will manage the Go-to-Market (GTM) calendar for brand activations, TikTok LIVEs, campaigns, product launches, and other major initiatives. This role will coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, creators, influencers, and event partners to ensure projects remain on schedule and deliverables are completed successfully.

The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Go-to-Market Coordination

• Manage the TikTok Shop Go-to-Market calendar, including brand activations, campaigns, product launches, and LIVEs.
• Coordinate TikTok Shop campaigns and LIVEs, including sampling requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Support major activation events and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate dedicated brand LIVEs involving celebrities and top-tier influencers.
• Partner with store eventing and corporate events teams to identify opportunities to amplify events through TikTok Shop.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Operations, Creator/Affiliate Marketing, and Media teams to execute major campaigns and events.
• Track project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.

Program Organization & Tracking

• Organize and manage cross-functional and vendor meetings.
• Develop meeting agendas and gather required presentation materials.
• Document meeting notes and follow up on action items.
• Maintain project trackers and support month-end reporting.
• Track hero products and other key product initiatives in partnership with TikTok Shop Operations.
• Help develop new processes, roadmaps, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support expense tracking for major activations.
• Create and coordinate monthly newsletters highlighting TikTok Shop updates, achievements, and upcoming initiatives.
• Monitor the TikTok Shop inbox and route questions or requests to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain and prioritize the TikTok Shop enhancement backlog.
• Partner with IT and Product teams to identify business requirements and support new capabilities.
• Monitor project status and proactively communicate risks, delays, and dependencies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Category Management, Project Management, Marketing Operations, or a related field.
• Interest or experience in social media, TikTok, e-commerce, social commerce, influencer marketing, or the creator economy.
• Strong project organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and an innovative mindset.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
