Due to their recent growth and deep backlog of work, they are in need of bringing on a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience running commercial or multifamily projects from start to close out. Project Manager - Top ENR General Contractor - Charlotte will be responsible for:

  • Lead multifamily or commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Manage podium-style, mid-rise, garden-style residential developments or commercial developments, coordinating with field operations, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership teams.
  • Provide leadership to project teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Drive project planning, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and risk management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, and key project stakeholders.
  • Mentor project team members and contribute to the continued development of project management best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with internal leadership to support operational excellence and project profitability.
  • Participate in strategic growth initiatives as the company continues expanding its presence throughout the Southeast.

Profile

Project Manager - Top ENR General Contractor - Charlotte should have:

  • 5 to 10+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably with experience operating at the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level.
  • Proven experience managing multifamily or commercial construction projects.
  • Experience working for reputable Southeastern general contractors
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, financial management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Local Charlotte market knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Must be willing to work from and report to the Charlotte, NC office.
