Project Manager Transmission

Job Description

The Project Manager Transmission will oversee, direct, and coordinate all aspects of work related to overhead transmission projects. This role carries full responsibility for project delivery including financial performance, schedule adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction.

The Project Manager will establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams while driving repeat business and supporting business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept through completion, including siting, environmental and permitting activities, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, procurement, construction management, and project closeout.

• Develop and maintain client relationships, pursue new opportunities, and contribute to business growth strategies.

• Lead proposal development, support presentations, and participate in contract negotiations.

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining profitability and ensuring quality delivery.

• Oversee project financials, staffing, risk management, change management, and legal coordination.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all client and project communications, ensuring consistent coordination and reporting.

• Implement project policies, procedures, and controls in line with organizational standards.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, supporting professional development and team growth.

• Prepare regular progress reports covering cost, schedule, procurement, safety, and quality performance.

• Support strategic and marketing initiatives, including planning, trade shows, and client engagement activities.

• Coordinate across multiple disciplines or manage several smaller projects simultaneously.

• Travel to client sites and project locations as required.
