Project Manager (Transmission) - Level 1, 2 and 3

This posting is open to candidate submissions for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 assignments. If a candidate is selected, the hiring manager will determine the appropriate assignment level based on the candidate s experience, skills, and qualifications. When submitting candidates, please ensure the proposed not-to-exceed bill rate is aligned with the candidate s level of experience. Candidates should not be submitted at the maximum bill rate for a given assignment level unless their experience and qualifications clearly justify that rate. Proposed bill rates should accurately reflect the candidate s experience and be consistent with the assignment classification ultimately determined by the hiring manager. The Transmission PM with 2 to 15 years of experience will manage the execution of multiple transmission projects. The position will involve coordinating with multiple internal and external departments to manage the life cycle of project execution. Responsible for project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management. Take ownership for all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting and communication throughout the entire project lifecycle. Manage and direct the project team to ensure accountability. Mentor and coach team members. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders. Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed safely, satisfactorily, on time, and within budget. Support the reporting of key performance indicators for schedule, budget, and other dashboard items. Identify and control construction risk. Recognize, identify, track and control change. Communicate and consult with appropriate stakeholders and leadership. Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results. BS degree from an accredited engineering program or a management/business degree. Proven experience managing multi disciplinary teams. Work will take place primarily in an office setting with occasional construction site visits. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, driving, walking (sometimes across uneven surfaces). Visits to construction sites will involve exposure to weather/ambient temperatures.
