Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in healthcare to lead and deliver critical projects in a fully remote environment. This role offers the opportunity to manage impactful initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. There is potential for long-term or permanent hire for the right candidate.
⭐⭐⭐ Project Manager ⭐⭐⭐Location: Remote (Northeast-based candidates strongly preferred; Must reside in the U.S.) Pay Rate: $30-$40/hour (DOE)Position Type: Contract (potential for permanent hire)Experience: 3-5+ years of project management experience requiredIndustry: Healthcare experience required
Key Responsibilities for the role of Project Manager include:Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation
Apply project management methodologies including planning, execution, risk management, and change management
Coordinate and manage project resources to ensure proper alignment with project goals
Maintain and share clear, timely project documentation with all stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication and issue resolution
Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
Identify risks and issues proactively and implement mitigation strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities
Qualifications for the Project Manager:3-5+ years of professional project management experience, including at least 2 years leading projects
Healthcare industry experience required
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
Experience with project planning, scheduling, and resource management
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders
Ability to effectively lead meetings and drive project progress
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar)
Ability to manage multiple detailed projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:Project Management certification (PMP) and/or Six Sigma certification
Experience working in cross-functional or remote team environments
