- Position Title: Project Manager – Utility Technology / Systems Implementation
- Core Focus: End-to-end delivery of AMI deployments, GIS mapping integrations, and CIS/billing modernizations
- Methodology: Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks tailored to regulated utility environments
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project lifecycles from planning and vendor selection through testing, cutover, and post-production support
- Oversee AMI deployments, including smart meter rollouts, HES, MDMS, and field deployment logistics
- Coordinate GIS mapping updates and integrations with CIS, customer billing, CRM, and financial workflows
- Facilitate communication between IT, field operations, executive leadership, and third-party software vendors
- Track project KPIs, manage change control processes, and mitigate operational risks
- Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of IT or technical project management experience, preferably within water, gas, or electric utilities
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Oracle Utilities, SAP IS-U, Tyler Technologies, and Esri ArcGIS
- PMP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification preferred
