Description

Overview:

BlueWater Federal is looking for a Project Manager to oversee Enterprise Information Technology support services for the Department of Energy’s Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence (IN) to include Infrastructure Engineering, System Management and Hosting, Desktop Support, Service Desk Support, and IT Project Management.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Define and manage project management processes and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management utilizing Jira/Confluence
  • Plan, develop, manage, and deploy software development activities and projects throughout the entire development lifecycle using agile management methodologies.
  • Work with the users and network team to determine project requirements, scope, timeline, and budget and to monitor and track change requests.
  • Develop work plans, estimates, and schedules and direct and assign tasks.
  • Conduct project meetings with development team and customer stakeholders and interfaces with other teams such as the operations and security teams to meet project requirements.
  • Apply Project Management skills such as budget monitoring, schedule development, quality & issue management, scope and resource management, stakeholder and communications management
  • Apply technical skills to a range of topics that include SharePoint development, EOL tech refresh efforts, help desk, and modernization/deployment support
  • Engage client personnel across site and lab environments to understand specific system and functional requirements
  • Proactively report project risk and deliverable issues to Program Manager for assistance as soon as possible
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree in an IT related discipline is desired.
  • 10+ years of Program/Project management experience is required
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance; highly desired is a TS with SSBI within last 2 years or Q clearance or SCI.
  • Possess certifications associated with IT governance and security is desired
