JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager with OCM focuses on bridging the gap between new healthcare technology implementation (like MMIS, eligibility engines, or clinical review tools) and user adoption. This role oversees traditional PM lifecycles (scope, budget, scheduling) while driving a structured methodology to minimize resistance, increase readiness, and ensure sustainable business transformation across multi-stakeholder groups.
Core Responsibilities
This is for State of Louisiana account project. Remote with some travel to client and maybe Tysons Corner corporate office.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related domain.
- PM Experience: 5 to 7+ years of rigorous project management experience utilizing formal project management structures (PMP certification heavily preferred).
- OCM Experience: Minimum 3 consecutive years of full-time dedication to managing organizational changes resulting directly from new IT systems, workflow modifications, or public health policies.
- Industry Domain: Deep familiarity with Medicare operations, Medicaid programs, CMS quality regulations, or health system conversions.
- Change Frameworks: Knowledge of formal OCM methodologies (such as Prosci ADKAR or the ACMP standard).
- Technical Stack: High proficiency with collaboration and governance engines like Smartsheet, Jira, SharePoint, and MS Project.

- Project Delivery Frameworks: Define, develop, and execute comprehensive project plans, milestones, and governance standards.
- Change Readiness & Strategy: Conduct thorough stakeholder impact analyses and change readiness assessments to evaluate organizational culture and capacity.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate cross-functional, multi-sourced stakeholder groups (including state health officials, providers, and clinical staff) to align goals and messaging.
- Communication & Training: Formulate and execute target communication campaigns and transition training programs that prepare employees and external users for system upgrades.
- Risk & Resistance Management: Identify prospective pain points or bottlenecks in user adoption, establishing proactive proactive triage processes and countermeasures.
