Project Operations Manager - Pallet Racking

About the Role

Pallet Rack Warehouse & Supply is looking for a hands-on Project Operations Manager to serve as the operational hub of our project pipeline — from the first customer inquiry to final installation. This is not a supervisory-only role. You'll personally manage projects, work directly with customers as well as support our project managers in keeping leads moving and projects on track. What You'll Do

• Handle incoming customer inquiries ranging from small pickup orders to large-scale warehouse design and installation projects
• Manage your own book of projects end-to-end — quoting, coordinating, and delivering
• Partner with project managers to ensure leads are moving forward and follow-up stays consistent
• Conduct on-site customer visits and job walks as needed to assess scope and present solutions
• Proactively identify ways to keep projects and the pipeline running smoothly
• Collaborate with warehouse and installation teams to coordinate scheduling, materials, and logistics
• Support project managers in delivering a customer experience that earns repeat business and referrals
• Keep CRM and lead tracking current so the full team has visibility into the pipeline

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or a related role — ideally in warehouse equipment, material handling, construction, or industrial sales
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at different stages simultaneously
• Comfortable reading warehouse layouts or basic CAD drawings
• Strong communicator — equally effective on the phone with a first-time customer and on-site with an installation crew
• Self-directed with a natural instinct to follow through; you don't need to be managed to stay on top of things
• Experience leading or mentoring others in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with standard business tools; CRM experience a plus

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
