This role is ideal for a proactive legal professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments and enjoys supporting complex construction, infrastructure, governance, and litigation matters.Working closely with Project Legal Counsel and the Vice President, Design & Construction, the successful candidate will play a critical role in legal research, contract administration, litigation support, compliance coordination, and legal operations. This position offers broad exposure across commercial contracting, dispute resolution, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and project delivery.If you are detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and motivated by meaningful project work, we encourage you to apply.What You'll be responsible for:Legal & Litigation SupportProvide legal, factual, administrative, and confidential support related to contractor claims, settlement discussions, mediation, and litigation mattersMaintain electronic file organization, document control systems, and legal databasesConduct legal research using statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal resourcesResearch and analyze legal authorities for use in preparing contracts, legal opinions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondenceDraft, review, proofread, and cite-check legal memoranda, correspondence, and supporting legal documentsAssist with investigations, discovery preparation, document review, and trial support activitiesCoordinate litigation and dispute matters, including document collection, subpoenas, and external counsel engagementContract & Corporate SupportAssist in drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, partnership, and data-related contractsTrack contractual obligations and support contract lifecycle management processesSupport Project Legal Counsel across commercial contracting, compliance, regulatory, governance, and operational legal mattersPartner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support business initiatives and operational prioritiesCompliance & Process ImprovementAssist with compliance program administration, including policy management, internal reporting, and training coordinationIdentify opportunities to improve legal workflows, systems, and operational processesSupport implementation of scalable legal and administrative best practicesOrganize and summarize large volumes of information while managing competing priorities and tight deadlinesWhat You Bring:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution requiredMinimum 4 years of relevant paralegal or legal operations experienceExperience supporting litigation, construction, infrastructure, or commercial contracting matters preferredExperience working within a regulated industry is considered an assetStrong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and legal research methodologiesKnowledge of court systems, litigation processes, and legal documentationFamiliarity with commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory mattersUnderstanding of project management principles and construction contract delivery methods is an assetExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgmentAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilitiesAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teamsComfortable navigating ambiguity and developing practical solutionsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPointAbility to create clear, compelling, and visually engaging presentations tailored to diverse audiencesExperience managing legal documentation systems and databasesIf you are a detail-oriented, solutions-driven legal professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working collaboratively across teams, we encourage you to apply.The salary range for this position is $82,000 - $92,000 annually.This is an on-site position based in the United States, with preference given to candidates located in or near the JFK Airport / New York City area.To applyPlease visit our careers page at and follow prompts for “United States Career Opening” to apply with your cover letter and résumé.All qualified candidates who are legally entitled to work in US will be considered.At Vantage Group, we seek and welcome unique backgrounds, perspectives, experiences and skills.
