Project PMO /PM
TC Location: New York (Hybrid 3 days a week)

Role and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will:
  • Create, manage, and maintain the work stream schedules
  • Build migrations schedule / waves
  • Provide work stream meeting management
  • Create and own work stream updates for the Program steering packs
  • RAID management
  • Create status reports
  • Provide support to the Program Management team as required
  • Maintain project controls
  • Manage project documentation
  • Use Program templates, best practice and SharePoint
Skills required
  • 10 years of Project Management / Project Management Office experience
  • Recent experience of large scale End-User computing rollout programs
  • Strong knowledge and experience of project lifecycles and governance within large organizations
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build consensus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills, to include working with large data sets 100k rows of data
  • Good MS PowerPoint and Visio skills
  • Prior experience of working in financial services or consulting firm required
  • Demonstrate experience of technology projects and understand the complexities and issues that result from such initiatives
Bachelor's Degree: nice to have
  • Industry Background: 100% Needs to come from LARGE Enterprise Level Orgs -- Banking/FS is a big PLUS
  • Years of experience: 7-15 years

Must Have:
•End User Project Management / End User Deployment PM (high volume projects & managing Risk around end user program)
•Not a PM looking at a SDLC
•Needs to have your typical PM background
•Ability to analyze large datasets via EXCEL (Need very strong Excel background)
•Visualize what they are going to do, how to plan, needs hands on this data. Also, needs to be able to translate data into meaningful/high level executive type summaries and presentations
•To 100, 000s rows of data
•Global Exp but this role is going to be focuses on the Americas (and wealth mgmt)
•Good Presentation skills - building and delivery presentations to sr. Executives
•RAID Management - (Risk, issues, assumptions, dependencies)
•Well-rounded demeanor / People Person
•Will be working with all sorts of folks - will need to communicate back and forth and be flexible with their messaging and day to day.
•Must be able roll-up sleeves and get involved in all types of day to day activities

D2D:
•Richard runs the Mobile Device Transformation Program
•In charge of Refreshing all Client Mobile Hardware
•Upgrading to a different platform, making it more secure (Extremely High Volume)
•Rolling out devices across the organization
•Creating a schedule, migration waves and need to be organization Project


Previous Project:
•Upgrading everyone's corporate Mobile phones
•Engage with Sr. Stakeholders to engage requirements
•Who is getting what, who is getting
•Then plot out the migration schedules
•Negotiate, build out plane and build out rollout requirements
•Will need to react to feedback, issues, risks, etc
•(already started rollout)

Misc:
•Need someone from a LARGE Enterprise Organization dealing with 'End-User? Migration projects
•Lots of People, Lots of Noise, and Very complex
•100% need End User Equipment Exp
•Phones, PCs, Headphones, Monitor, piece of software within the ORG

DOES NOT WANT:
•Someone who has worked with Data Center Migrations or Cloud Migrations - Not the best fit for the role
