Project/Product Manager I - Procurement & Strategic Sourcing 26-00098

Key Responsibilities:

• Support strategic procurement and sourcing initiatives for various material categories including poles, transformers, cables, substation equipment, MRO supplies, safety equipment, and chemicals.
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and tracking of project schedules and deliverables.
• Conduct competitive Request for Proposals (RFPs) to meet material requirements and achieve purchasing performance goals.
• Support supplier engagement and negotiations to obtain the best commercial terms and value.
• Perform data analysis in Excel and develop presentations in PowerPoint to support sourcing recommendations.
• Maintain project documentation and assist in reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve project objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience supporting projects, supply chain, procurement, or contract management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting sourcing strategies for direct materials, including vendor selection and competitive RFP execution.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier negotiations, and contract terms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
