At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life's uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers' evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.

Job Description

  • Drive delivery across scope, timeline, budget, and quality with strong governance, tracking, and reporting discipline

  • Build trusted partnerships across executives, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders; influence decisions and drive alignment without formal authority

  • Communicate complex concepts through clear, executive-ready insights, reporting, and recommendations on progress, risks, and trade-offs

  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and change impacts to protect delivery and maintain momentum

  • Lead cross-functional teams and forums to ensure accountability, decision-making, and successful execution

  • Drive outcomes and adoption by focusing on benefits realization and integrating change, communication, and implementation activities

Qualifications & Functional Skills

  • Strong expertise in project and program management, governance, and structured delivery within complex, matrixed organizations

  • Proven ability to lead enterprise work through influence, building alignment, engagement, and accountability across diverse stakeholders

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic priorities into executable roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and business impact

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, including executive presence and trust-building capabilities

  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills, including assessing trade-offs and recommending mitigation strategies

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable, executive-ready messaging

  • Strong execution discipline with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining governance, tracking, and reporting rigor

  • Experience with enterprise project management, reporting, and collaboration tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel dashboards, Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project)

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, program management, business transformation, operations, or a related field

  • Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives with high complexity, enterprise visibility, and multiple dependencies

  • Proven experience developing roadmaps, governance materials, executive communications, status reporting, and risk management approaches

  • Experience working across business, technology, operations, and Talent Enablement in a matrixed environment, achieving results through influence and partnership

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This is an individual contributor role with no formal people leadership responsibilities

  • Success in this role requires leading through influence, establishing clarity, and driving accountability across stakeholders

  • Expected to role model Allstate's Values and Behaviors and contribute to strong, collaborative ways of working
