Description:
  • The Senior Finance Program/Project Manager leads complex, cross-functional Finance transformation initiatives that modernize Finance processes, systems, and ways of working. This role is accountable for driving end-to-end program delivery and for process-driven initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, scalability and adoption.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong program and project management discipline, a transformation mindset, and the ability to partner effectively with Finance leadership, IT, and functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes in a highly complex environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic Finance transformation programs and end-to-end project delivery from definition through execution, adoption and value realization.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC) and Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Partner with executive sponsors and Finance leadership to define scope, success metrics, timelines, resourcing and governance.
  • Drive process-centric project execution, ensuring impacts to upstream/downstream finance processes are clearly understood.
  • Apply structured program and project management practices to plan, execute, monitor and de-risk multi-phase initiatives.
  • Proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues; escalate as needed.
  • Ensure alignment of project outcomes with finance process standards, controls and busines objectives.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track delivery progress, process performance and business impact.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams and vendors to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Drive change management activities, including communication, training, UAT coordination, and operational readiness.
  • Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Required Experience and Domain Expertise
  • 10+ years of experience in finance process improvement, with strong preference for semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments
  • Deep understanding of Accounts Payable, financial close, and operations finance processes
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations with highly integrated finance systems
  • Backgrounds in high-tech manufacturing, telecom, networking, or large-scale enterprise companies are preferred; large software firms may be considered as alternatives if experience is highly relevant Process Improvement and Methodology Skills
  • Strong capability in process discovery, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis
  • Proven experience redesigning and reengineering finance processes to reduce cycle time and effort
  • Lean Six Sigma expertise required, with Black Belt preferred; Green Belt acceptable if paired with substantial leadership and hands-on application
  • Ability to develop process improvement roadmaps and guide initiatives from concept through execution Systems and Technical Knowledge
  • Practical, working knowledge of SAP ECC and Snowflake, with emphasis on improving underutilized system capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate with IT, procurement, and analytics teams to implement system-driven process improvements
  • Focus on optimizing existing platforms and workflows, not building new applications
  • Familiarity with finance data, reporting ecosystems, and automation concepts is beneficial Communication and Leadership Skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior finance leaders
  • Ability to bring cross-functional teams together, gain buy-in, and drive change
  • Comfortable leading workshops, facilitating discussions, and presenting recommendations to executives Balanced skill set combining strategic thinking and hands-on execution
