POSITION: Project Manager / Project Owner
JOB TYPE: W2, Onsite, Full-time, ongoing contract
LOCATION: Irving, TX (Onsite)
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 8:00AM – 4:00PM CST
DURATION: 18-month contract
COMPENSATION: $53–$54 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager / Project Owner to support a large enterprise technology environment.
This role focuses on bridging business and technical teams, gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into structured work for architecture and development teams.
You will play a key role in driving initiatives forward by ensuring requirements are clearly defined, properly organized, and successfully delivered through Agile teams.
This is a high-visibility role, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate requirements into epics, features, and user stories
- Work with architecture teams to organize and structure technical work
- Partner with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure successful execution
- Lead cross-functional discussions and alignment sessions
- Track work and progress using Azure DevOps and Confluence
- Build presentations and provide updates to leadership
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT project/program management or product ownership
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience using Azure DevOps and Confluence (NOT Jira)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Product Owner role
- Power BI or data visualization experience
- Experience creating leadership-level presentations
